Thornton is one of the larger cities in the north metro area and has grown steadily as an alternative to closer-in neighborhoods. It offers a wide range of housing, from older starter homes to newer single-family communities and townhomes.

Shopping and dining are close by along I-25 and along 104th Avenue, and prices tend to be more approachable than in central Denver.
