Centennial became a city in 2001 and combines established suburban neighborhoods with major employment centers. Centennial Airport, one of the busiest general-aviation airports in the country, and the nearby Denver Tech Center bring jobs and business activity to the area.
Homes are mostly mid-century to 1990s single-family neighborhoods, with townhomes and condos near the commercial corridors. Parks, trails and recreation centers are plentiful, and light rail and I-25 provide connections to downtown Denver.
