Aurora is the third-largest city in Colorado and covers a wide stretch of the east side of the metro area. It is home to the Anschutz Medical Campus, Buckley Space Force Base and a large share of the region's aerospace and health-care jobs, and Denver International Airport is close by.
The housing stock ranges from established neighborhoods with mature trees to newer master-planned communities farther east, with condos and townhomes near the light rail lines. Cherry Creek State Park and Aurora Reservoir give residents plenty of room for boating, biking and trails. Southlands and other shopping districts add retail and dining close to home.
